What is Rocket Soccer 3D?
Rocket Soccer is a car soccer game — a mash-up of arcade driving and football where every player is a car and the “kick” is a collision. Each match is 3-versus-3 inside a neon arena with a giant physics ball bouncing around the floor. You drive in third person, looking around with your mouse, and try to angle your car so that when you hit the ball, it rockets toward the enemy net. Defenders do the opposite — throw their car between the ball and their own goal.

How to play: the controls
- Drive with the Arrow Keys (or WASD) — movement is relative to the camera, so you go where you’re looking.
- Look around with the mouse; click the screen to lock the pointer and aim the camera.
- Boost with Space, Shift, or the on-screen button — you go faster and hit the ball much harder.
There’s no possession to manage and no buttons to memorise — the entire skill is positioning your car and timing your hits.
Boost is everything
Your boost meter (bottom-left of the screen) is the heart of the game. A normal bump nudges the ball; a boosted strike sends it flying with real power, perfect for a shot on goal or a desperate clearance. But boost is limited and refills slowly, so you can’t hold it down forever. Knowing when to spend it — a breakaway, a goal-line save, a 50/50 challenge — is what separates a good run from a great one.
Line up behind the ball, then strike
Because hits are directional, the winning move is almost always the same: get behind the ball relative to the goal you’re attacking, point your car at the net, and drive (or boost) straight through it. Hit the ball from the side and it’ll squirt off at an angle; hit it square with speed and it goes exactly where you aimed. Master that and you’ll be scoring screamers in no time.
Smart bots and online multiplayer
Rocket Soccer is an online multiplayer game, and any spots not taken by real players are filled with AI bots, so a full 3-versus-3 always runs whether you’re solo or in a crowd. The bots attack, defend and boost into the ball, and they hold their shape instead of all chasing it at once — so there’s always space to play into. You drive the car under the green ring, which makes it easy to keep track of yourself in the chaos. It’s the same “jump in and play together” spirit as our other multiplayer games to play with friends.

Tips to score more goals
- Save your boost. Don’t burn it driving around — keep it for shots and saves.
- Get goal-side on defense. Park between the ball and your net, then clear it with a boosted hit.
- Approach from behind the ball. Square hits with speed are far more accurate than side-swipes.
- Bump rivals. A well-timed shoulder into an enemy car knocks them off the ball.
